It's still moist from the marsh mud it was dug out from, but it's quite lively looking, with a few young purple-blue buds yet to bloom.

I believe this is something like a Marshland Iris, though I cannot be sure of the exact species. They're hardy and grow quickly as long as given plenty of water.
