There is literally zero give, considering the difference in their sizes, and his feet scrabble against the scant grass here. He could call his hydromancy forward, or spit acid, or frankly a dozen other things, but he did promise Sett his help, and he liked him enough to follow through with it.]

Then something furry brushes along his tail, even as his other hand wraps around the tip of the tail to hold it steady. It's an appreciative nuzzle, cheek pressing past, perhaps a thanks, maybe just savoring.
[It's not the first time someone's done this to him, even beyond this place. He's a literal, physical extension of his Aeon's grace, and his flesh held the same unnatural healing powers, albeit tinged with the poison granted with it.
But it hasn't happened enough for him to get used to it. And there's nobody else here to see, so the whimper comes out full-throated, and perhaps when Sett comes back enough to his senses, he'll come to the questionable realization that Dan Feng makes the exact same sounds when he's in great pain and when he's in bed.
There's a lot of meat there, at least; three, nearly four feet of pure muscle, cradled by vertebrae.]
[ It's the best. It's the BEST. The TEXTURE of the resistance and give, the scrape of muscle on his teeth, the sounds in his ears. There's a fondness that colors it, that tongue occasionally lapping between bites... the hand that rubs along Dan Feng's flank, as if trying to soothe or gentle him through the sharp lances of pain and dull relief. ]
[There's a moment of ragged breathing at that hand, and then a last fond lick with that sandpaper tongue.]
I.. [What IS he going to say? He doesn't know. He feels a bit drunk. Content and SATED. Then the massive hand removes itself from that impossible pin- only to replace by the warm weight of Sett settling over him.]
Full. [ He says it on an exhale, like it was something that felt impossible or maybe just indecent. ] I feel full...
[ The brain cells haven't quite finished starting up, because when he shifts back off of Dan Feng, it's just to gather him up to hold, like he does a lover. ]
[Dan Feng goes easy into Sett's bulk, burying his face into the fur at his collarbone. He can't actually tell which way is up, with how lightheaded he is, and his head lolls back as he lifts a hand to try and clumsily pet at Sett's muzzle.]
's she back yet? [The smell of blood is thick in the air, underscored by the sweet, overripe scent of Dan Feng's healing magic, trying and failing to close over whatever Sett has left of his tail, on account of, you know, going into shock.] Go look.
[ That jolts him out of that odd little euphoric mood that comes when a suffering ceases.VAL. It shocks through him, heart racing, clutching Dan Feng a little closer-
And then realizing the weak loll of the man's head-
He's been in enough fights to know what shock looks like. ]

[His hands are too sharp and too clumsy to stop the bleeding, but after a fumbling attempt, there's shadow slithering up around it and constricting.]
[ their side heads have their mouths closed and their eyes have grown dim. their center head has its mouth closed and yet it still talks, gold smoke expelled from its 'nostrils'. ] What's going on here? What have you two been doing?
[ their side heads speak in unison, ] D̵o̶ ̸n̵o̴t̸ ̷l̵i̴e̶ ̸t̷o̶ ̸u̶s̴.̸ [ said to dan feng specifically. ]
[ vastella looks sett over to, but he asked about dan feng first so that takes priority. ] Let me have a look at him and then we will talk more about this deer lady and your own injuries. [ she scruffs dan feng and lifts him up and away from sett. ] Tell me of your ailments. [ but she's looking at his tail. does it look eaten? is it mangled?? ] What did he do to you? And I want the truth.
[YOU CAN'T SCRUFF MIETTE LIKE THIS. THIS IS SO UNDIGNIFIED
Dan Feng's face twists ugly with annoyance for a moment, baring his fangs, and he visibly struggles to contain himself - but this is kind of hard when you've lost as much blood as he has. He'd conjured a second tail with his Gluttony abilities, but that tail is little more than a foot-long affair of mangled muscle and scale and bone, compared the his original one, which is a little less than four feet.
It's not a neat injury. It's visceral gore and sinew and weakly pumping arterial blood. The ragged edges of it are dripping with a sickly-sweet magic, of Dan Feng trying to regenerate it, but he's just succeeding with draining himself further.]
