[What do you mean this is a great bonding experience!!!!
Dan Feng's lounging on one of the graves like it's the finest daybed, but there's an air of faint anxiety around him, the way his tail is switching back and forth giving him away.]
[ He could have hung up? But he didn't. Because what if Val came back and everything was fine and she DIDN'T want to see him til he was more himself. That would make sense. Save some steps!!
But no, eventually, a hulking figure slouches out of the cover of the trees and steps into the graveyard, already tasting the air for her.
He looks... not at all like himself. More beast than anything, more canine than the cat he usually clocks as, muzzle and teeth and bare bone in spots slowly healing. Part of his hand is missing and still dripping blood, the other burned. He isn't paying attention to either.
Just watching Danny's reaction with yellow, slitted eyes.]
[His tail stills, though, as Dan Feng tenses abruptly, the predatory instinct in him rankling at the arrival of another one, beastly like this. It takes a lot for him to keep lounging, turning his head just enough to look at Sett.]
[ Actually he feels GREAT. But THAT makes him feel worse. He takes a few more steps into the graveyard and- ah. Dan Feng's instinct was right at least. Sett's ears pin back and he shakes his head, and sinks down onto his haunches some careful distance away from him.
[He inhales deeply, which is a mistake, because even this far, Sett smells like blood and flesh and danger and Dan Feng's pupils slit so thin they're nearly nonexistent.]
Don't come any closer or I will maul you and she'll be mad at both of us. [He sits up.] Just give me a moment. Is this a form of yours?
[Dan Feng closes his eyes and prays for patience.]
No growling. [He says, while growling a low, animal sound under his diaphragm.] I really want to tear your throat out and I cannot heal that fast enough to keep you from dying.
[This feels good. He can see how tightly Sett is holding himself, how much he's straining to hold himself back, out of what? Politeness? Loyalty to Valencia? Loyalty to the human part of him?
He stops, crouching in front of Sett. Less than a thought and there's two tails winding behind him, woven into existence with Gluttony's magic. Dan Feng smiles like a knife.]
It's the slither of a new tail that snaps that fine control out of him. That's HIS he knows it's his. His prey says something but he doesn't care.
Sett's fast like this. Faster than when they'd fought, and somehow stronger. Maybe it's the transformation and maybe it's just the desperation. That maw opens wide, flecks of foam collected on the gums, and he's going to try and pounce Danny, snapping for that new appendage. ]
[They end up rolling in the dirt some, and Dan Feng will have at least gotten in a good swipe - but he ends up scratched bloody, too, a single, truly massive hand spanning the breadth of his waist holding him, face-first, against a slab of granite.
There is literally zero give, considering the difference in their sizes, and his feet scrabble against the scant grass here. He could call his hydromancy forward, or spit acid, or frankly a dozen other things, but he did promise Sett his help, and he liked him enough to follow through with it.]
[ There's a little squeeze around DF's ribs at the struggling, but it's more like a cat patting something they've already caught.
Then something furry brushes along his tail, even as his other hand wraps around the tip of the tail to hold it steady. It's an appreciative nuzzle, cheek pressing past, perhaps a thanks, maybe just savoring.
[It's not the first time someone's done this to him, even beyond this place. He's a literal, physical extension of his Aeon's grace, and his flesh held the same unnatural healing powers, albeit tinged with the poison granted with it.
But it hasn't happened enough for him to get used to it. And there's nobody else here to see, so the whimper comes out full-throated, and perhaps when Sett comes back enough to his senses, he'll come to the questionable realization that Dan Feng makes the exact same sounds when he's in great pain and when he's in bed.
There's a lot of meat there, at least; three, nearly four feet of pure muscle, cradled by vertebrae.]
[ It's the best. It's the BEST. The TEXTURE of the resistance and give, the scrape of muscle on his teeth, the sounds in his ears. There's a fondness that colors it, that tongue occasionally lapping between bites... the hand that rubs along Dan Feng's flank, as if trying to soothe or gentle him through the sharp lances of pain and dull relief. ]
[There's a moment of ragged breathing at that hand, and then a last fond lick with that sandpaper tongue.]
I.. [What IS he going to say? He doesn't know. He feels a bit drunk. Content and SATED. Then the massive hand removes itself from that impossible pin- only to replace by the warm weight of Sett settling over him.]
Re: [Day 29]
[There's the sound of leaves crunching.]
She would be better off seeing you here.

I was good enough for Aphelios! Am I not good enough for you!

No sign?
[Carefully he palms his phone closed.]

With a low growl, Sett wipes the hunger from the edges of his maw with the back of his arm. ]
No. Not this far. She did that.

Re: [Day 29]
Assuming y'win. Big assumption.
Re: [Day 29]
He gets to his feet. Snicks claws out as he starts walking closer, his tail flicking behind him.]
Assumption? It's a fact. You think you can overpower me?
Re: [Day 29]
Bone claws dig furrows into the ground as he tries not to get up but he's getting so CLOSE and he can HEAR Dan Feng's PULSE. ]
Don't care.

Mindless little creature.

Say something. [He mumbles, drowsy, reaching back to grab at Sett's claws with a shaking hand.] I'm lonely and cold.

[Smacking him in the hip weakly, but his other tail settles over Sett's waist.]
How are you feeling?
